Leo Kottke brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Kottke worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Austin City Limits" (PBS, 1974-2015), "Days of Heaven" (1978) starring Richard Gere and "Gettin' Back" (1974) starring The Earl Scruggs Revue. He also contributed to "Little Treasure" with Margot Kidder (1985). In the eighties, Kottke devoted his time to various credits, such as "Fat Guy Goes Nutzoid" (1986) starring Tibor Feldman, "A Prairie Home Companion: The 2nd Annual Farewell Performance" (Disney, 1987-88) and "Doodle's" (ABC, 1987-88). He also worked on "Leo Kottke: Home & Away" (1989). Kottke's music was also featured in "When A Man Loves A Woman" (1994) with Andy Garcia and the Charlize Theron dramatic adaptation "North Country" (2005). Kottke's music was most recently featured in the Daniel Day-Lewis drama "The Ballad of Jack and Rose" (2005). In addition to his music, Kottke also appeared on-screen in "Garrison Keillor's Hello Love" (PBS, 1991-92).
