Maria Friedman was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Friedman marked her early career with roles in the Robert Forster drama "Medium Cool" (1969) and "Me and the Girls" (PBS, 1986-87). Later, Friedman acted in "Hey, Mr. Producer! The Musical World of Cameron Mackintosh" (PBS, 1997-98). More recently, Friedman appeared on "American Masters: Marvin Hamlisch: The Way He Was" (PBS, 2013-14).
