Scriptwriter and producer Marti Noxon became best known for her work on the critically-acclaimed TV series "Buffy The Vampire Slayer," for which she also directed a couple of episodes. After becoming the show's co-producer in 1998, Marti went on to have increasing control of the series and its spin-off "Angel." Marti's affinity with supernatural saw her go on to co-create the cult supernatural mystery series "Point Pleasant" in 2005, but her versatility made her much in demand, both as a writer and producer across a variety of genres, from the medical drama "Grey's Anatomy" and its spin-off "Private Practice" to the action thriller "Prison Break" to the quirky comedy-drama "Glee." Marti's cult credentials brought her to big-screen scripting duties for the science fiction drama "I am Number Four" (2011) and the horror remake "Fright Night" (2011), even while she continued to have an award-winning career on television as a producer and writer on "Mad Men."
