Mika

Mika, born Michael Holbrook Penniman Jr. on August 18, 1983, in Beirut, Lebanon, was a pop singer known for his flamboyant performances and distinctive voice. Raised in a multicultural family, he spent his early years in Paris and London, which influenced his eclectic musical style. He received classical music and voice training from the Royal Opera in London and Russian soprano Alla Ablaberdyeva, later attending the Royal College of Music for a time. Mika first gained attention with his hit single "Grace Kelly" in 2007, which topped the UK Singles Chart. His debut album, "Life in Cartoon Motion" (2007) was a commercial success and won a Brit Award for Best British Breakthrough Act.
