Oscar Straus's musical talents have contributed to a variety of Hollywood productions. In 1925, he earned an early screen credit for "Walzertraum" ("A Waltz Dream"), which used the score of his 1907 operetta. Straus's music was featured in the Maurice Chevalier comedic adaptation "One Hour With You" (1932). His music was also used in "The Chocolate Soldier" (1941) with Nelson Eddy. Later in his career, Straus worked on the adaptation "La Ronde" (1950) with Anton Walbrook. Straus passed away in January 1954 at the age of 84.
