Philip Perlman appeared in a number of comedic films, always bringing a spark of joy and laughter to whatever role he takes on. Perlman began his career with roles in the Don Murray thriller "Deadly Hero" (1976), "Cheers" (NBC, 1982-1993) and "Throw Momma From the Train" (1987). He then acted in the dramedy "The War of the Roses" (1989) with Michael Douglas, "Roc" (Fox, 1990-94) and the Christopher "Kid" Reid comedy "Class Act" (1992). He also appeared in the biopic drama "Hoffa" (1992) with Jack Nicholson and "Frasier" (NBC, 1993-2004). Later in his career, Perlman acted in the comedy "Drowning Mona" (2000) with Danny DeVito. Perlman passed away in April 2015 at the age of 96.
