Good News (2025) DJ BenHaMeen One of the best films of 2025, beautiful in every way. A satire that doesn't punch down, some of the most inventive cinematography that I've seen in years, incredibly well acted by the entire cast, there are really no flaws in this film.

Avatar: Fire and Ash (2025) DJ BenHaMeen While Fire & Ash is the most beautiful Avatar, the problems with the storytelling or lack of it, as well as the paper thin characters, keeps this on the level of a film best seen on mute.

Sinners (2025) DJ BenHaMeen My film of the year, deserving of all of the accolades and more. Repeated viewings bring out more of the intentionality and vision of Ryan Coogler and company. Deserves to sweep the award shows.

TRON: Ares (2025) DJ BenHaMeen Beautiful gowns. Giving this film a Fresh is a stretch... It's not rotten because it's not actively offensive, but it leaves pretty much everything. to be desired beyond beautiful CGI visuals and a thumping soundtrack.

One Battle After Another (2025) DJ BenHaMeen While competently made, OBAO is one of the most cynical, disrespectful "I'm smarter than everyone else" films ever made. So many questionable decisions, it's sad that this film will be considered one of the best of the year by most critics.

Predator: Badlands (2025) DJ BenHaMeen Predator: Badlands takes the traditional action-horror angle of the franchise and trades it for a Lone Wolf and Cub type adventure starring a non English speaking alien and a humanoid robot.

TRON: Ares (2025) Tatiana King Ares is super polished and slick in it's presentation, high gloss effects, and great electronic soundtrack. Jodie Turner Smith is an absolute stunner and the film does enough to insert itself into the Tron universe, but its more aesthetics than substance.

One Battle After Another (2025) Tatiana King One Battle After Another is unique in it's approach to humor in high stakes, outrageous situations has tons of visual delights and has good humor. Teyana Taylor performance is incredible! That said, at times I felt the story trivialized revolutionaries.

HIM (2025) DJ BenHaMeen I'm a big fan of the unexplained and HIM fully embraces that. I loved seeing Marlon Wayans eating up the scenery in every scene. I was wildly entertained despite the constant questions, confusion and general strangeness from the narrative and direction.

HIM (2025) Tatiana King Marlon Wayans went beyond as his role as a sadistic, scene-chewing and genuinely scary adversary in his role of Isaiah White. The entire film is out of control, confusing for the decisions made and overall direction, but ultimately entertaining as hell

The Long Walk (2025) Tatiana King The Long Walk is a harrowing, haunting, and deeply uncomfortable film that is as brutal as it is unforgiving for everyone involved. I felt like I endured extreme psychological trauma watching each agonizing event. Its just as terrifying as the book.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025) Tatiana King Fantastic Four was mesmerizing, suspenseful, powerful and ultra smart. It blew my expectations out of the water. Between the impeccable cast, incredible score and superb writing that is so good, within the first 15 minutes you want to see it again.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025) DJ BenHaMeen I'm crying tears of joy because the cloud days are over and we have a real certified Galactus and Silver Surfer! The casting is perfect and true to form of the first family of Marvel.

Superman (2025) DJ BenHaMeen The character work is the strongest part of the film. The film is visually bright, colorful, Superman looks great--David Corenswet's performance immediately puts him in the lineup with the great Superman portrayals. Love Lois and Clark's relationship.

Superman (2025) Tatiana King This film mixes All Star Superman, Superman I, II, III and a heavy dose of Guardians of the Galaxy. If you go in with expectations of levity, wackiness, and the true core of what makes Superman tick, then you'll be delighted. Mr. Terrific is a standout!

Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning (2025) Tatiana King Its just ridiculous. Fast and the furious levels of impossible situations. Gabriel is the most unintentionally funny and diabolical villain. Its WAY TOO LONG. The dialogue choices can be laughable. However the ACTION is unparalleled. Tom wins again.

Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning (2025) DJ BenHaMeen Although Final Reckoning was easily the worst of all the Mission Impossible film series, it still delivered on some absolutely impossible stunt scenes. The plane scene was incredible.

Thunderbolts* (2025) DJ BenHaMeen Thunderbolts might be the surprise of the summer, a film that uses many of the classic Marvel storytelling tropes, injected with a fresh vision. A worthy successor to the Avengers series, that brings a boost of vitality and energy to the MCU.

Sinners (2025) Tatiana King Sinners is full of the depth and complexity of the Black experience, history, culture, pain, and passion. Delivered in a genre-breaking vehicle that's shocking and mesmerizing. Sinners is Cinema and deserves every bit critical acclaim and global attention

A Working Man (2025) Tatiana King It's a cross between Taken, John Wick, one of them Matrix movies, and every Jason Statham movie you have ever seen in your life. While not one brain cell will be exercised, you will be entertained and laugh every time you're not supposed to.

Mickey 17 (2025) Tatiana King Mickey 17 is a parody, parable and unfortunately overcooked warning about the dangers of the cult of personality. But it's *much* too long and deeply and off-putting in the liberties the director takes with tone and focus.

Captain America: Brave New World (2025) Tatiana King It carries some strong underpinnings of Malcolm Spellman's great The Falcon and The Winter Solider but ultimately falters. The film's casting and characterizations are generally strong. However, the story is chopped and ends up limping along.

One of Them Days (2025) Tatiana King Generally solid, buddy movie that's entertaining enough. Keke and SZA make for a compatible team that plays well off of one another. The level of comedy varies throughout the film, but its still appealing and has enough players for story expansion.

Deadpool & Wolverine (2024) DJ BenHaMeen The movie is overall a great time, and I had fun but it's a big bag of nothing that doesn't mean much. It's a cameo-fest with no real plot since the movie ends where it began. If you want fanboy worthy entertainment, then it works.

Deadpool & Wolverine (2024) Tatiana King Deadpool & Wolverine is a good sandbox environment for Marvel where they test new ideas and approaches about well-known and deep-cut characters with a mix of Internet culture, humor and fun. The movie is also deeply inconsequential to the rest of the MCU.
