Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023) Josh Wilding Despite lacking so much of what made Shazam! great, there’s fun to be had with Fury of the Gods, a movie that serves as a reminder the DCEU wasn’t all bad. It’s just a shame it never quite manages to electrify us in the same way as its predecessor.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023) Mark Cassidy A highly enjoyable superhero adventure that hits the right emotional beats while providing a few belly-laughs in the process. It's not without its problems, but if you were a fan of the first one, you're guaranteed a good time at the movies this weekend.

Operation Fortune: Ruse de guerre (2023) Josh Wilding Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre is an enjoyable Guy Ritchie romp hampered by an all-too-familiar story but redeemed by explosive action and one of Jason Statham’s most swagger-filled performances to date as Bond-beater Orson Fortune.

Creed III (2023) Rohan Patel Creed III is another worthy entry to this storied boxing franchise and a strong directorial debut for leading man Michael B. Jordan, who is also in top form as Adonis Creed, but it’s ultimately Jonathan Majors that steals the show!

Cocaine Bear (2023) Rohan Patel Elizabeth Banks makes it snow with the bloody violent, gut-wrenchingly gory, but surprisingly heartfelt Cocaine Bear. It's an entertaining time at the cinema and should be a big crowd-pleaser… especially if you can handle a few gallons of spilled blood.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania (2023) Josh Wilding Despite being an example of why a movie shouldn’t be shot almost entirely in The Volume, every time Jonathan Majors steps on screen as Kang, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is an epic tale to astonish and a monumental chapter in the Multiverse Saga.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania (2023) Rohan Patel Best Ant-Man film yet and a strong start to Phase 5. Paul Rudd brings the heart as the loveable Scott Lang while Jonathan Majors brings the heat, making a rapturous debut as Kang the Conqueror! A new dynasty has begun and it’s time to bear witness!

Avatar: The Way of Water (2022) Josh Wilding Avatar: The Way of Water’s epic visuals are impossible to find fault with, but with a paper-thin, painfully boring story and little in the way of character development, this three-hour snoozefest is all style, no substance.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special (2022) Josh Wilding A seasonal showpiece for the amazing Pom Klementieff as Mantis, The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special is James Gunn’s Marvel masterstroke, and the best Holiday Special ever made. A merry Marvel Christmas miracle, it doesn’t get any better than this.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022) Josh Wilding Black Panther: Wakanda Forever ranks among Marvel Studios' best movies, and is an emotional, uplifting, tour de force of a blockbuster. Letitia Wright delivers a powerhouse performance, while Angela Bassett’s majestic work will leave you reeling.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022) Mark Cassidy Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is the best sequel we could have hoped for without Chadwick Boseman. Ryan Coogler has built a respectful, mature, beautiful monument to his friend and T'Challa, whose legacy is in the safe hands of a worthy successor.

Black Adam (2022) Josh Wilding Come for The Rock’s pitch-perfect take on Black Adam and stay for an unmissable post-credits scene. Then, just try to forget everything else, because this brainless, brawny superhero movie is not the fresh start the DCEU desperately needs.

Werewolf by Night (2022) Josh Wilding A Halloween horror delight, Werewolf by Night is a mighty impressive, macabre Marvel monster tale that introduces some killer new characters and proves Marvel Studios can still find plenty of ways to surprise us. More Man-Thing is a must!

Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) Josh Wilding Too silly to take seriously, there’s still a lot to love about Thor: Love and Thunder but, unlike Thor: Ragnarok, it’s unlikely to be a movie you’ll fall in love with. Marvel Studios may be developing a quantity over quality issue.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022) Josh Wilding Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is a one of a kind blockbuster experience and a pure, unadulterated Sam Raimi movie that, while not quite the crazy ride through the Multiverse we expected, delivers a fun, horror-tinged trip.
