Audience Reviews for Vidocq (Dark Portals: The Chronicles of Vidocq)

Visualy stunning and with an interesting narrative told mostly by images and colours which isn't enough to hide the incosequent plot and lame twists that you can see for miles. Style over substance? Not quite, but you if you make a stylish movie with a narrative in the background you better make sure it works (like Jeunet's earlier works).

Decent action/fantasy combo, the direction do gets annoying from time to time. The twist made no sense at all, but that's a cool mask for sure.

This movie is kinda cool. It has really neat cinematography in it, and a neat story.

A solid movie. I liked the camerawork. The ending is lame though and the movie ended up going through the cliched road of the villain is killed but at the end they tease the villain is alive, I hate that. The movie would have gotten a better score without it. But overall, this is a pretty solid movie.
