Audience Reviews for One Week
"One Week" was the first Keaton directed film to be released due to The "High Sign" being shelved at Keaton's will. The film is a masterpiece and it makes sense that even at 24 minutes it was one of the top-grossing films of 1920. The film showcases the big props Keaton was known for and while he looks like he gets smashed up pretty bad at times, the danger really adds to the films intrigue. With such a short runtime, it's shocking how many hilarious scenes and sets are seen in short succession. I loved every minute of it and anyone that appreciates comedy will find it a fun and worthwhile watch!
I giant bucket of fun. Possibly the best two reelers EVER. Check it out on Google Video.
