In terms of Shakespearean scholarship, "10 Things," directed with more energy than style by Gil Junger, may be but a footnote. But when they write the teen-flick book, this goes to the front of the class.

Who knew that Shakespeare dude could be so entertaining? References to him abound in this messy but enjoyable movie right down to the use of a remake of Nick Lowe's "Cruel to Be Kind." But you don't have to be a fan of the Bard to like this affable film.

I went into 10 Things I Hate About You expecting a typical teen comedy, but it ended up being a really fun and memorable watch. The movie balances humor, romance, and emotion surprisingly well, and the cast has great chemistry throughout. Heath Ledger and Julia Stiles both stand out and make their characters feel genuine without overdoing the drama. What I liked most is how the film keeps a light, entertaining tone while still having heartfelt moments that actually land. The soundtrack and late-90s atmosphere also give it a lot of charm. Even if some parts feel a little predictable now, it still holds up as an enjoyable teen movie with plenty of personality. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you want something funny, charming, and easy to rewatch. I’d give it a 7/10.

Of course, it was such nice 2000s romcom. I loved Pat and Kat, and their dynamics of teenage too! (Their vintage-y2k dressing was so good!! I loved every dress)

Literally my favourite movie of all time. I love Kat and I like Bianca's character development. Patrick was such a good and funny character. Nothing bad to say about this movie.
