Felipe Nasr is no stranger to the podium. The Brazilian ace has logged seasons in Formula 1, captured the IMSA Drivers' Championship three times, and claimed victory at the 24 Hours of Daytona on two separate occasions. Yet one goal still burns brightest: conquering the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans--the crown jewel many regard as motorsport's most coveted prize. For 2025, Nasr joins Porsche Motorsport's Hypercar program, piloting their cutting-edge hybrid prototype that has already proven capable of toppling the once-invincible Toyota and Ferrari squads. In Free Practice, Felipe clocked the fastest lap of the entire field, signaling Porsche's intent. But in a cruel twist of fate, a mechanical issue during qualifying relegated his car to 20th on the grid--the very back of the class he intended to win. To keep his Le Mans dream alive, Nasr must launch an audacious charge from the drop of the green flag, clawing back more than twenty positions and pushing both machine and mind past the absolute limit. 2DIE4 captures every heartbeat of that high-wire quest.

Carla Hay Culture Mix Feb 23
Dull and very superficial, the documentary 2Die4 comes across as a semi-scripted infomercial for Formula 1 racer Felipe Nasr during his experience competing in 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2025. Nasr gives robotic narration from a very cliché-ridden script. Go to Full Review

2DIE4 is action, reaction, and the aftermath, presented without any pretension. It’s the dream of one man presented in glorious IMAX. Go to Full Review

If it grabbed me enough through its hour-long runtime, those who do care for racing are going to love it. Go to Full Review

Antonio G. @afgoes Feb 22 2DIE4 is not another racing movie. It's an artistic take on the reality of a driver trying to conquer the top. The movie beautifully unpacks the struggle, the routine, the emotions, in a way it was never seen in a movie theater before. If F1 The Movie is an arcade video game, 2DIE4 is a racing simulator for professionals. See more Billy S @chillbillone Feb 20 It’s difficult to describe this cinematic masterpiece properly, from the slow mo intro to dreamy night scenes (with and without rain), heart pounding racing scenes, and serene sequences all woven together seamlessly keeping the audience at the edge of their seats. It tells a story without explaining, provides adrenaline and punctuation with clarity in a perspective never seen before. This isn’t your racing movie or car film, not even a documentary. This is to die for, a new genre unto itself, like an impressionist painting, these artists have created something brand new and taken viewers to the next level of a racing experience. The spectacle inspires and ignites a fire in viewers: one doesn’t need to be a racing enthusiast or car lover to enjoy it. And yet it is hard to leave without feeling the urge to drive around curves. Five stars, two thumbs up, and one hundred rotten tomatoes. Yes, it’s that good! See more Brian H @Brian903 Feb 20 "Less is more." 2die4 is the perfect example of this. This movie was never boring. This is something that is new for me with a lot of modern movies; sometimes there are scenes that just feel like filler, not adding anything to the narrative, but just there to transition from one scene to another. 2Die4 was different, every scene, every moment built up the story, whether it be through what was happening with each character, or even just the mere feelings that the ambience built up, it all felt necessary, impactful, interesting. This is one of the very few movies that I would watch again, not only once it comes out on a streaming platform, but actually in-theatre. The fact that it was filmed by a crew of only 8 people makes the whole thing mind-blowing, it pushes the limits of what film can be, raising the bar and eliminating room for excuses for mediocrity. See more Rayka V. @RT58589199 Feb 4 This is the best racing movie I have ever watched. At the premiere, two P2 drivers were in attendance and, during the Q&A with the directors, both said this is the most realistic depiction of racing and of what they actually do. They even mentioned that if someone ever asked them what they do for a living, they will tell them to go watch 2die4. The imagery and sound are absolutely stunning, especially in an IMAX theater. This is a must watch not only for car enthusiasts, but for anyone who believes in self drive, determination, and accomplishment. You are watching someone who is genuinely willing to put everything on the line for a chance at victory. You literally won’t blink once during the entire movie. See more Daniel G @RacingIsLife Feb 4 I am a pro sports car driver. This movie is the most realistic representation at what we go through that I've ever seen. The way they captured the sounds, the flow of the race from a drivers perspective, it's dead on. This is the movie I will tell people to see if they want to know what it's really like to race a 24hr sports car race. It's a must see. See more Pedro G @m3pedro Feb 3 This is the kind of movie that hits different on a big IMAX screen vs. watching it on a ipad or something. Watching this on a massive screen with high quality audio is what really sucks you in. The filmakers did an amazing job immersing you in the environment. The sound in this movie is as amazing as the visuals. Story wise, it doesn't fall into the trap of most "racing documentaries" which is dropping a ton of exposition about what your seeing, It lets you sort of fall into the meditative experience of a long 24hour race with everything at stake. In a lot of ways, they do a better job at presenting a more artistic cinematic take on the 24hrs of LeMans than Steve Mcqueen was able to do with his avant guard aproach to his movie. Honestly this is a must see for any racing fan, but any viewer will also be able to escape reality and enjoy the movie. Just long enough to tell the story but not long enough to bore your partner that doesnt care about racing. See more Read all reviews
