Years into a benevolent alien occupation of Earth, the human race is still adjusting to the new world order and its quirky coffee table-sized overlords called the Vuvv. Their flashy advanced technology initially held promise for global prosperity, but rendered most human jobs -- and steady income -- obsolete. When 17-year-old artist Adam Campbell (Asante Blackk) and new girlfriend Chloe Marsh (Kylie Rogers) discover the Vuvv are particularly fascinated with human love and will pay for access to it, they decide to livestream their budding romance to make extra cash for themselves and their families. Life is good, for a while, until the flame of their teenage love fizzles out and they're forced to make very different, absurdly life-altering sacrifices for their families.

It's all rather cleverly worked out and there's enough here to draw on. Certainly from a young adult level there's something to see here, but it tries to too much in too many different ways. I give them points though for creating aliens that [look new].

Once you get past the aliens’ appearances, it’s easy to be mesmerized by the film at large, which is a sweeping and heartfelt examination of colonization, voyeurism, capitalism, and humanity.

this movie was interesting but had too much going on for me to understand why this movie is titled what it is. i feel the movie wouldve worked better as a streaming series. idk maybe thats just me.

The premise was interesting for the first 30 minutes then it quickly got boring. Very slow moving which I don't mind if the movie is good. It's one of those movies I didn't hate but also one I won't ever watch again. Wait till it's free on streaming.

I liked the story-line and where the vibe was going, and thought it was a very thoughtful, and hopeful movie. However as I am human, I wanted to see the aliens shrivel up and implode! Perhaps in the sequel !!!

Quirky, but interesting, creative, and well acted. It will make you think. I would say this is a really good movie for teens and families with older kids, despite the R rating (it’s really just language).

Synopsis
