The plot got silly and nonsensical at times, but in the end it proved a tearjerker. The film is definitely a crowd-pleaser, even though it suffers a few formulaic moments along the way. And if you’re a big Philadelphia Eagles fan then you’ll probably get even more of a kick out of Silver Linings Playbook.
