Mild-mannered sheep farmer Albert Stark (Seth MacFarlane) feels certain that the Western frontier is trying to kill him, then he loses his girlfriend, Louise (Amanda Seyfried), to the town's most successful businessman. However, a beautiful, pistol-packing woman named Anna (Charlize Theron) rides into town and helps Albert find his inner courage. Then Stark must put his newfound bravery to the test when Anna's outlaw husband arrives with plans to plant him in an unmarked grave.

Say what you want about Seth MacFarlane, that man can write a "guy pooping into a hat" joke that'll really make you think. But unfortunately, too much of A Million Ways To Die In The West is oddly serious and laugh-free.

This is one of the most hilarious movies I've ever watched. Every moment of the movie had me dying in laughter, and I had so much fun watching it. I definitely recommend it for comedy and Western fans!

I’m shocked at the low scores for this movie. I laughed out loud the whole time and thought it was hilarious. I’ve rewatched it probably 50 times at least. If you don’t think this movie is funny then your sense of humor is as dry as the old west desert.

I have never understood the hate for this movie. Is it the Godfather? No. Is it fun to watch Seth MacFarlane crash into a horse while riding a goofy 1800s bicycle? Yes

Not sure why this movie isn’t more highly rated. Maybe my sense of humour is warped but the movie was fun from start to finish with some genuine laugh out loud bits along the way. Check your highbrow snobbery at the door and enjoy the movie for what it is.
