This documentary chronicles the life, career and philosophy of abstract expressionist painter Agnes Martin. In her adopted home of Taos, N.M., the Canadian artist continues to work at an unflagging pace even into her 90s. Over a series of conversations recorded between 2002 and 2008, Martin talks about creating her meticulously designed canvases and discusses the enigmatic origins of her work, her childhood in Saskatchewan and what brought her to New Mexico after many years in New York City.
