An interesting film but could have been much better. See more Stephen G @patient1 Sep 25 Couldn't imagine what PTSD is like, but our main character seems to have it and it's night Terrors possibly. Has an old Hammer Films vibe throughout its running. As many soldiers who return from service, ours is homeless and suffering still. Adjusting to normal home living seems to be possibly welcome yet foreign to him as he's been out 2 years according to his statement to the nun who found him unconscious in an alley after a fire broke out at the homeless encampment. The home itself is old and dilapidated. Our soldier being handy, he tries to help around the home under some protest that "he doesn't need to". The Home itself has an eerie feeling to it and seems a bit old world, but kinda looks homey in a strange way. This has got to be one of the most bizarre and yet still very intriguing at the same time as I am unable to figure out how this will play out. This has been a total mind manipulation and massacre of commen thought process.The old Gods can deal out some painfully terrifying ordeals to be sure. This is a rewatch for sure... This is when some director is known in the cinema meets art sect and they give them the benefit of the doubt. Not only is the movie nonsensical= it's slow and boring. I laugh at all of the positive reviews- you people must not value your time very much if watching this was worth it, hahaha.
