Makes the case for the carnivore diet, spoken of in almost cult-like terms. Go to Full Review

Stylishly edited, eye-opening and captivating, but often repetitive and not fair or balanced enough while ultimately biting off more than it could chew. Go to Full Review

Stan Jun 22 A very informative view of the carnivore way of life See more Sarah P Jun 20 Great carnivore documentary, and I loved that it included stuff about regenerative agriculture. Hope people learn a lot from it! Gonna go eat a steak See more Jean R Nov 1 I found this to be a good documentary but there are many ways it could improve. I feel that they could have done a much better job. My main issue with the film is that they didn't seem to make use of the actual data/literature. Pretty much everything they used for the film was anecdotal (which is still data but critics of the diet will see this as weak evidence). There are tons of data on low-carb/keto diets. We have randomized control trials showing their efficacy. I wish that they mentioned all that strong data in the film. Also I feel that they should have mentioned the stupendously weak data on the other side. Examples: Ancel keys 7 country study which had piss-poor data collection and his supposed correlation with sat fat and heart disease which never proved causation, and when full data is considered there was never a correlation in the first place. The Minnesota Coronary Experiment which had about 9000 participants and the intervention was to lower sat fat. Intervention group had 269 deaths and the control had 248. Not only did lowering sat fat not produce better outcomes, there was an inverse relationship. The Sydney Heart Study showed the same results, 500 participants with decreased sat fat as intervention. Intervention group had 39 deaths vs control which had 28. The Women's health Initiative followed 50,000 women over 8 years and found that lowering fat did not improve CVD or mortality. The Framingham study which showed that 1mg/dl decrease in total cholesterol resulted in 11% increase in mortality and 14% increase in CVD Deaths. There was a 140,000 patient study all heart attacks, almost 50% of that group had low blood cholesterol ldl<100. If A causes B than if we remove A than B should disappear. Clearly cholesterol is not causative. Heart disease is a leading cause of death among vegans who do not consume sat fat or animal products. Also we have decreased fat intake by 30%-35% and metabolic disease continues to rise. There's so much data the list goes on and on. I feel like if they used more hard data like this it would have made a more compelling argument. Also I have been doing animal based diet, it works. I highly recommend people have an open mind and give it a try. I think you will love the results. See more Wintha W Sep 25 Amazing documentary, a must watch if you care about your health, and I defently loved it, if you dont belive in the diet try it out its going to amaze you. See more Yvonne K Sep 11 I watched this twice... once with my husband and once with my family. They shared it with their adult children. . GREAT information! Really have to watch it 2-3 times to capture everything they are saying. Our adult Children lost so much weight in 1 year on the Carnivore Diet and are the healthiest they have ever been, both mentally and physically. They should have been on this video! Even IF you don't do the Carnivore Diet, there are a lot of changes you could make to your lifestyle (foods you eat), to be so much more healthier.
