Claudio C @Claudio666 Aug 27, 2026 Atomic Train (1999) Tragedies and Cliches (12,646 – 27 Aug 2026 – Claudio Carvalho) One man decides to smuggle an atomic bomb in a train together with flammable and hazardous chemicals and while heading to Denver, a hose blows up and the train loses the brakes and becomes runaway. The railroad responsible team decide to derail the train, but they learn that there is a bomb inside the train. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) investigator John Seger (Rob Lowe) boards the train by helicopter expecting to help the engine driver and crew to stop the train. Meanwhile, panic and riots are creating havoc in Denver. "Atomic Train" (1999) is a disaster movie full of tragedies and cliches, One of the most ridiculous scenes is when John and his family protects from the atomic blast inside a sewer blast while buildings collapses and cars blow up. Taped it and watched it with my daughter until it would no longer play. I feel like people are expecting way too much from something that cost them nothing. I would watch it again if I could find it. See more Apr 15, 2013 I like this film, I found it more enjoyable to watch than Unstoppable, yes its long but as made for VHS flicks go this one is good and even beats some modern day epics like 2012. I would recommend for Rob Lowe's brilliant acting and the nuclear explosion. This is Unstoppable with a better (if unbelievable) ending!!!
