Early scenes hint at a tense, engaging thriller, yet the story falters when supernatural elements are introduced, creating tonal inconsistency and uneven pacing. The screenplay attempts to tackle multiple themes—justice, corruption, trauma, and the paranormal—but never fully develops any of them, leaving the plot scattered and hard to follow. Direction feels uncertain, with shifts between genres that never coalesce into a coherent vision. While the cast, particularly Blige, provides moments of grounding and authenticity, the overall execution undermines their efforts. Body Cam is watchable and has potential, but its lack of focus and cohesion prevents it from being a truly engaging or memorable film.
