Unapologetically denuded of depth, "Bohemian Rhapsody"'s focus is clearly on the music, not what made Mercury tick. And this despite Malek's superhuman efforts to make Queen's charismatic frontman real and alive.
It features a fantastic lead performance from Rami Malek as Queen frontman Freddie Mercury, but sadly the rest of the film doesn't live up to its greater elements, playing more as a greatest hits medley that has little to say about Queen or its members.
