Movie Info

Irish writer, director, and star Liam O'Mochain plays fledging writer Vincent, who is frustrated with publishers and editors casting aspersions on his work. He hatches a plan to retrace an ancient Celtic epic in its current modern settings, and he manages to get an attractive young woman (Antoinette Guiney) to videotape his travails. Eventually, Vincent goes to the Venice Film Festival and asks bemused celebrities, such as George Clooney and Catherine Deneuve, questions related to the movie. The Book That Wrote Itself was screened at the 1999 Vancouver Film Festival. ~ Jonathan Crow, Rovi
