Chantilly Bridge reunites a group of lifelong, steadfast friends who are still -- in their later years -- chasing their dreams, fighting injustices, and sticking up for their convictions. The women lay bare their lives and deal with important issues that impact all women with humor, humility, humanity, and love. No topic escapes the razor-like wit and insight of these women: equality, sex, menopause, mortality, feminism, parenthood, careers, love, and even "me-too" moments. While women often feel invisible in the world, this film highlights who they are and what they care about. We experience what women are truly like and what they discuss in a setting where no men are present. Chantilly Bridge is also about reconnecting with old friends from the past and the beauty of a shared history.

A creative and accomplished director has created this remarkable sequel 30 years after the release of Chantilly Lace. With stand out performances by its cast, this is an amazing story of friendship and all it offers and requires, and the benefits that come from being there for someone else when they most need it, even if they are unaware. From the ensemble worked so well together, to the relevance of the story line and the austerity of the setting… it all seemed to blend just wonderfully as a complete statement. I went last Friday with 3 friends, and we all walked away very moved by the artistry and the authenticity. If you are free to go, I encourage you to do so and be reminded of how valuable friendships are.

This is a "MUST SEE"... brilliant acting with Linda Yellen's improvisation process. We discover the true essence of the actors as humans... authentically connecting with themselves and each other. Magnificent modeling of disrupting old models of 'command and control' scripts, authoritative direction. Gorgeous connectedness, heart, and empathy among/between the actors - on and off the set!
