Alex B 02/15/2025 A friend told me about this film and enthusiastically recommended I watch it, and I'm so glad I did! It's a revelatory deep-dive into the curious and sometimes mysterious age-old world of chickens (not poultry in general, mind you, but chickens specifically) presented in a light-heartedly original, thoroughly entertaining and surprisingly informative work of feathery filmmaking fun. The chick who created and directed this eggsellent little feature brought to the work an evident deep passion, knowledge and love of the subject, and presents it with great humor, wit and whimsy. The animations, characterizations, place names and little bon-mot asides will have you chuckling along throughout as you learn more than you ever knew you didn't know about chickens. Do view! See more Paul N 12/29/2024 Chicken City is a brilliant, must see movie about everything and all things chicken. Pam Percy has created a deep historical ( and hysterical) homage to the chicken and it's eggs. Thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining, Chicken City helps solve the riddles of the chicken and the egg, past..like which came first!!! I now have a renewed sense of admiration for how much the chicken has contributed to history! See more Pierre R 12/26/2024 Are you interested in chickens, poultry, eggs, the history of chickens, cooking and eating chickens , chickens thru the ages, in art, literature and as home decor? How about chicken-centered puns? Even if you aren't, waddle on down to your nearest streaming service (currently viewable on Amazon Prime) and give it a gander. This one-hour movie is chockful of interesting, surprising and funny information that will give you a whole new perspective on what - I learned from the film - is one of the noblest birds of all time. Descended from dinosaurs! Recommended for all ages! See more Moira F 12/17/2024 The animation is a standout. Playful and clever A most entertaining movie.
