There's just enough to entertain, but this won't be your most memorable watch.

I never was a huge fan of the original, but I'll admit it had a mildly cheesy charm. The same can't be said for this remake, which is just a loud, silly bore.

All this is nail-biting, popcorn- gobbling stuff.

Director Louis Leterrier's remake of the campy 1981 film Clash of the Titans pays homage to its predecessor in that you have to mock both films in order to keep them interesting.

Clash of the Titans has a vigorous and spectacular story to tell. The film has its lulls, and cheesy moments, but for the most part it's entertaining.

It's destined to be a mega-blockbuster, and it deserves every dollar it earns. Warner Brothers has done exactly what should be done with a reimagining: take everything that was good about the so-so original, and make it bigger and better.

Clash of the Titans was crafted as a 2D film and has irredeemable problems beyond the fact that it has been converted into 3D.

As is the current trend, it seems, this was filmed in 2-D but released in 3-D at cinemas, a bad decision as the reformatting looked, quite frankly, rubbish. It's much better to watch this in good old 2-D at home, while it's nothing special...

I am so bitterly disappointed with the soulless entity that is the new Clash Of The Titans...
March 28, 2019
The use of 3D in Clash of the Titans looks deliberate and fails to add anything to the story, instead, taking more away from it.

Nothing personal, kraken. You did your best.
March 28, 2019
Clash of the Titans is a gods-awful mess from start to finish.
March 28, 2019
Stuffed with special effects and numerous battle sequences, it's a film that has no magic and no personality of its own. Not even 3D can save it.
March 28, 2019
It's not Shakespeare - or even Greek tragedy - but director Louis Leterrier keeps the pace swift and the action constant.

One or two setpieces briefly wake up the story -- the visit to Medusa's cave, a parley with the three witches (isn't that Macbeth?) -- but this is generally a hit-and-myth affair.
March 9, 2019
Too much going on without any clear reason, almost no character development, HUGE plot holes, and none of the special effects were spectacular enough to make up for it.

To fans looking for action, the bracing battles may be worth the pains of the alternately campy and oh-so-serious journey. But it's hard to imagine paying top dollar, much less the 3-D premium, for such overblown Saturday matinee fare.

... for those who know and grew up with the original film, this Clash of the Titans leaves much to be desired. [Full review in Spanish]

Clash of the Titans in 3-D is an Olympus-size failure.

It comes together surprisingly well for a film that was supposedly rewritten a few times, resulting in changing the villain while cutting others' dialogue. It may not stand up to the original, but it's still a fun ride.
