In 1985, Russian boxer Ivan Drago killed former U.S. champion Apollo Creed in a tragic match that stunned the world. Against the wishes of trainer Rocky Balboa, Apollo's son Adonis Johnson accepts a challenge from Drago's son -- another dangerous fighter. In conclusion, Creed II is a solid film with a convincing performance of Michael B. Jordan who asserts himself in the character. This sequel is what the fans expected, but it must be admitted that it provides few innovative elements.

"Creed II" is a the sequel of the black Rocky, "Creed". We see themes from Rocky III and Rocky IV such as Creed becoming a sports figure and losing his head as well as a revenge flick in the guise the match between Adonis and Viktor Drago, the son of Ivan Drago, who killed Apollo Creed. Everybody was cheering for Viktor rather than Adonis!!!! ;)
