06/19/2021 I'm so lucky!!! The Silver Chair is my very favorite of the whole series and I love this series over the Disney version. One BIG reason for this series' is Susan is pretty. Anybody whose read it knows that. Many know you mess up on Susan there won't be a new The Silver Chair. Tilda Swinton did an excellent job in both series, too. I had the greatest crush on this series' Edmund played by actor Jonathan C. Scott for similar reasons I enjoy Adam J. Brody a lot: great tantrum skills. Not to mention, to my third grade summer eyes this Edmund was so cute, too. What a boy of an actor. Thank you. <3 :) Alicia Lynne. See more 10/16/2020 One of the worst films ever made. Couldn't even make it more than ten minutes in. The acting is atrocious. The special effects are beyond poor. Nobody looks like they're even trying to play their parts well. See more 07/07/2012 Very true to the books. More like a play though, than a film. Enjoyed it when I was younger. If they found a way to replace the costumed actors and puppets with CGI and remastered it, it would rival the re-makes. See more 06/27/2011 His books were more entertaining than his life. See more 03/16/2011 Good biography of C.S. Lewis. Some connections between his life and its influence on the books seems a bit speculative. The narrator's voice grated a bit after a while, but the information here was well presented. Mostly, this made me want to go on a C.S. Lewis tour of England.
