"Doodlebug" is a prime example of why Nolan is an innovative storyteller. With an interesting premise and a short running-time, Nolan successfully makes audiences piece together the rules implied within the universe of "Doodlebug". Not exactly award-winning material here, but you can't help but to find it to be an interesting piece of work.
This was the start of Christopher Nolan's career and back then he was good. This has to be the best short film ever. It was quirky and mind blowing. I'm not just saying that because he's one of my favorite directors. This short film is about a guy having to deal with insanity. He is basically chasing something in his apartment with a shoe. When the thing he was chasing is revealed it ends up being........... I don't want to spoil it if you haven't watched it so go watch it online and if you seen it go watch it again.
Very short, but very sweet.
It might only be 3 minutes long, but Christopher Nolan is a genius visionary, and filmmaker. And this short film proves no exception, with it's unique style, as well as interesting concept, and attention to detail, it's a work of art.
