It may not reinvent the wheel, but by playing squarely to its middle-of-the-road strengths with a young cast clearly aware of the type of movie they’re in Go to Full Review

This is a "just go with it" movie, with paper-thin characters and contrived situations, but it invites us to go along for the ride. Go to Full Review

Everyone in the cast is up to the task here. Now if only they could have been handed a set of keys to a smoother ride geared to show off their talents. Go to Full Review

Farrelly and Moffett fail to heed their own message, as this feels more like a rehash of the films that came before than its own unique quest. Go to Full Review

Even a film generated with AI would have been more dynamic and engaging than this. Driver’s Ed is easily the worst movie from a Farrelly brother, and that includes Peter’s blemish for helming a segment of Movie 43. This is a terrible movie. Go to Full Review

What it does have going for it is its four lead characters, teenagers who are actually pleasant to be around brought to life by a quartet of actors, each with promising futures. Go to Full Review

Kelly May 19 the four kids were such sweet actors I wish they were given a half decent script See more Andrew S @Andrewfev Jul 4 Driver’s Ed is a teen road movie with very few laughs. It follows high schoolers on a cross-state driving trip full of predictable detours, mild romances and forced life lessons. You can’t help but think of better teen road movies from yesteryear or a better era that delivered sharper humour and genuine fun. This one coasts on basic setups without memorable energy or wit, leaving characters feeling underdeveloped and scenes repetitive. Scenic highway shots provide some visual appeal but the script rarely shifts gears beyond safe, uninspired territory. Acting is competent enough for the modest material yet fails to spark real investment or excitement. Overall it’s barely passable—watchable for a quiet afternoon but lacking the spark that makes the genre thrive. Better options from the past still outshine this forgettable ride See more Frans B @FransB Jun 30 Not bad, a joyride turned into some peculiar moments and adventure. Promising cast convincing in character but the thinly spread script was a challenge for them. Wooden directing and without real "direction" at times, like wandering aimlessly or awkward silences. Good cinematography and run of the mill humor makes it a little less hilarious than it could have been See more thiago S @Thiagostone Jun 26 Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom See more ARNEZ C. @Arny6tearz Jun 13 A good time with awesome friends on an adventure with crazy hijinks my type of movie nothing like dumb fun See more sebastian andres O @Yoamoalcine May 23 It will entertain you and give you a good time, although it's far from the best work the director has offered us, either solo or with his brother. It's an enjoyable film, with good performances and a committed cast. The rest depends on how willing you are to engage with its premise and how much you expect to get out of it. In any case, for a weekend with friends or a partner, it's a film that will leave you satisfied and ready for whatever comes next. See more Read all reviews
