There’s respect to be had for films that take big swings, potentially even risking offense to deliver their thesis with gusto, but 'Find Your Friends' is a sloppy, party porn massacre of themes. Even in the sinew, I struggle to find the point. Go to Full Review

Ultimately the destination taken—no matter how slick and impressive the editing may be—winds up making us feel disconnected from it all. Go to Full Review

...while the final revenge-driven turn loses some of the raw realism that makes the first two acts so compelling, the film’s authenticity never stops shining through. Go to Full Review

Coming maybe a decade too later to serve as the blend between Spring Breakers and I Spit on Your Grave that no one was asking for, it doesn’t provide me much pleasure to declare this the worst film I’ve seen so far this year. Go to Full Review

The only redeeming quality of this unpleasant and unfocused tale of sexual violence is that you can just point people to the direction of a much better film called How To Have Sex. Go to Full Review

Ryan G. @Ryguy69 20h Words can not describe how much I hated this movie. If the goal here was to make the trashiest, brain rotting, waste of time, not to mention, and I can't stress this enough, ANNOYING, movie of all time... Then they succeeded. With flying colors. The writers, director and actors should feel embarrassed by this gutter slop. See more Raul A. @thatsRaul 1d Amateur actors hopeless script See more Andrei D @RT74856639 4d Has half an idea but mostly exists to take the girls on a trip to the desert, where they struggle to act while the director has little to offer in terms of interesting ideas See more Overly Honest M @RT97518719 4d FIND YOUR FRIENDS turns spring-break chaos into a feral survival thriller that understands how friendship can be messy, loyal, jealous, funny, and toxic all at once. Izabel Pakzad’s feature debut works because it doesn’t treat Amber, Lavinia, Lola, Maddy, and Zosia like disposable or victims. They feel like women with years of history, grudges, and bad habits already sitting between them before the desert turns dangerous. Joshua Tree shifts from party backdrop to open-air trap, and Helena Howard anchors the chaos with a performance built on gradual awareness instead of easy heroics. The movie’s aggressive soundtrack, and pure adrenaline fueled impetus is an exhaustion that feels intentional. Pakzad traps viewers inside the same bad decisions as her characters, ignoring warnings, damaging friendships, and the experience of danger colliding into something tense, nasty, and unexpectedly alive. See more Kashgar A @AllFunAndGames 6d I know this film is attempting to convey meaningful messages about all sorts of girl issues, but the characters are so unlikeable, the dialogue so repetitive, the cliches so frequent and the decisions made so poor, it’s hard to feel any sympathy or empathy with this set of screeching girl women. Some of the acting is distractingly questionable too. There’s so many directions this film could’ve gone. Instead it just went everywhere and nowhere at the same time (the police never listen, men are bad, the desert is dangerous, the poor resent the rich and girl power means screaming P*SSY at the top of your voice whenever you want). A lame ending did nothing to resolve the general sense of dissatisfaction. engendered by this film. See more SuperZero N @RT05279080 6d It's hard for me to not be negative about this film. Does every format of this film not have a title sequence? The one I streamed didn't. That's a very ballsy thing to do w/ your first feature length film. So where to star after that? There is NO way that you take a small irl incident and come up w/ this torture revenge porn. It's such a bad film in so many ways. The chanting of things like "Good Pussy" and lines, the many sociopathic narc quality characters, The complete lack of plot beyond cause and OVEREACTION and all of the minor characters are plainly written in one note You might like this if you hate men. It's extremely hard for me to believe anything that the director/writer has said in interviews after seeing this film. She should be thankful that she got a 6 year project that's supposedly based on a real incident she had on a vacation made. Its a MESS. The end is strictly to be edgy. Chloe Cherry should stick 2 porn and Bella Thorne is 1 note as always and no lead. See more Read all reviews
