See more 10/21/2009 great (if simple) storyline supported by solid voicework and a gorgeous production/character design. the Otomo fans will recognise a lot of the akira characters in this series. the directing is amazing, with lots of cool 3d effects that makes the character look like they were played by actors. the series is so engaging i watched the 7 episodes in a row. highly recommended! in the same genre: macross zero, planetes, and of course, akira!
