Jun 01, 2020A dark and atmospheric horror film, Girl on the Third Floor delivers more mystery than scares. While fixing up his new house Don Koch encounters a mysterious young woman who comes on strong and forces her way into his life, meanwhile the house seemingly thwarts his repair efforts. The cast is okay, but the script is weak; taking a long time to go nowhere. And it doesn't really offer good or satisfying answers to what the house (or spirits) wants or why or how it (or they) does what it does. Gore hounds won't find much here, but there's some disturbing imagery, body horror, and a bit of blood. Kind of a mess, Girl on the Third Floor is a mediocre film that goes more for shock scares.Dann M Super Reviewer

Feb 29, 2020CM Punk can't carry this movie and that's the task as he spends a good deal of the film alone in the haunted house "acting" spooked. The filmmaker should have realized this when screening rushes and added more scenes with Trieste Kelly Dunn and Sarah Brooks. They at least are capable actors who deliver the film's only scenes of interest.Aldo G Super Reviewer

Dec 28, 2019Basically a body horror, but the house is an extra body. It was okay. I know it's a very "in" thing at the moment to not have a single likable character in your horror movie, which is the route that Girl on the Third Floor takes, but I personally don't dig that.Gimly M Super Reviewer
