Movie Info

Kathryn Bertine is a pro cyclist, author, activist and filmmaker. She is the 2013 Caribbean Champion and as well a three-time national champion of St. Kitts and Nevis. She has garnered one top 10 and six top 20 UCI finishes, and has competed at six world championships. Off the bike, she is a journalist and author of two sports memoirs (All The Sundays Yet to Come and As Good As Gold), and wrote the So You Wanna Be an Olympian? column for ESPN and the Riding with the Pros column for espnW, where she also worked as senior editor in 2011. Last July, Le Tour Entier, an organization she co-founded along with Marianne Vos, Emma Pooley and Chrissie Wellington successfully petitioned Amaury Sport Organisation (the owners of the Tour de France) to include a women's race as part of the 2014 Tour de France. The petition gained 97,000 signatures worldwide. (c) First Run
