It may not be groundbreaking, leaning more towards the traditional elements of this survival subgenre, but it offers a compelling pastime, with minor structural issues, delivering a sincere offering focused on giving the viewer what they expect. It has brilliantly executed moments and others that are somewhat more superficial, but it's undoubtedly a film that delivers and contributes, providing pure fun and leaving a pleasant feeling when the credits roll. It’s uncreative and absurd. The tour business owner didn’t know there were hippos and a building less than 5 miles off course… 5 hours overdue and no one was looking for them? I recognized one of the actors and for a low-budget film the performances are not too bad. They should have made the creature super-sized- it's enormity caused by radioactive waste, or something.
