It needed so much more development of story, characters, etc. We should have been introduced to the main characters so that we care about them. I found myself wanting to leave the room. The ending itself is open, suggesting that there might be a sequel, but I don't think there will be one. However I think it is worth watching simply for its difference and isn't that what every sci-fi fan want - something to stretch you mind and intrigue you.
