As the result of the curse of a once-beautiful witch (Meryl Streep), a baker (James Corden) and his wife (Emily Blunt) are childless. Three days before the rise of a blue moon, they venture into the forest to find the ingredients that will reverse the spell and restore the witch's beauty: a milk-white cow, hair as yellow as corn, a blood-red cape, and a slipper of gold. During their journey, they meet Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel and Jack, each one on a quest to fulfill a wish.

Cinderella’s Prince Charming and Rapunzel’s Prince are played by Chris Pine and Billy Magnussen, both handsome, shallow, stylish, self-absorbed, chivalrous, and chauvinistic pigs -- I loved them.

Into the Woods (2014) There's one word I can use to describe this movie: Horrible. This strangely tiresome and irritating musical, mixing various stories, made absolutely no sense. A good cast wasted on this awful Disney thing.

Into the Woods is a good Disney film that successfully brings a darker, more mature twist to classic fairy tale characters. It weaves multiple stories together in an interesting way, and the musical format helps give it a unique identity compared to typical Disney productions. The cast is strong overall, with several standout performances that help carry the film through its more uneven moments. The production design and costumes are also impressive, creating a believable and slightly eerie fairy tale world that feels different from the usual bright and simple Disney style. The film does feel a bit rushed in the second half, and not all story threads are developed as deeply as they could be. However, the ambition behind it is clear, and it mostly succeeds in what it tries to do. Overall, Into the Woods is an enjoyable and creative Disney musical with a darker edge, even if it isn’t perfect. A solid 7/10.

Surprisingly dark musical goes back to a classic fairytale story that ties more to the books than the movies. Overall it was pretty good, but it could have ended at the hour and ten minute mark.

Honestly, I was expecting this to be horrible based on what I heard but it wasn't that bad. though I have to admit it around the 2 hour mark when it seemed to be ending I was ready and then it continued and I saw there was 50 minutes left I was surprised. Not the best but pretty good.
