The early scenes give the film the impetus of a mystery, or even perhaps a psychological thriller, but there are a couple of gear changes that take it eventually into soap opera territory.
Although the twist ending surprised me, it makes perfect sense. But why this excellent thriller went straight to DVD makes no sense at all.
Suspense psicológico rasteiro que, apesar da boa atuação de Sarandon, se perde irremediavelmente em seu ato final, quando abandona qualquer pretensão de inteligência e se entrega ao absurdo.
As others have commented, this really does have the straight-to-dvd feel to it despite the good cast. I had never heard of it, but it was on TV so gave it a go.
It moves slowly in the beginning and wasn't too sure about it, but as it moves on, and then with the two twists at the end, I was glad I stuck with it.
Can't really say too much and give it away, but it was interesting and I wasn't quite sure which of the two ladies were delusional until the very end.
Sam Neil, Emily Blunt and Susan Sarandon: A brilliant cast but not such a brilliant movie!
i mean yes you were getting twists and surprises right till the end but not great, its a bit dragged out and long winded that it just gets a bit boring, i like the concept of the story its pretty good but not a suspense thrilller that i liked could have been done better!
Sam Neil looked Hot!!
An enjoyable paranoid Thriller, where the acting seemed to vary a little throughout and ranged from really enjoyable to some slightly annoying moments.
The plot is certainly what this film is all about and the build up toward the paranoia was dealt with fairly realistically, but does have it?s flaws. The twist, I felt was a little predictable, which was a little disappointing and of course resulted in losing some marks for me when I was rating it.
The slightly odd ending left me feeling I may have missed something, but looking at others' reviews I feel this was just one of those endings that was left this way for effect (?).
This is certainly a film worthy of watching and I?m sure I?ve given it more negative comments than it actually deserves.
