A documentary of 105min duration - about handful of Jewish peace activists who face skepticism and criticism from their fellow Israeli citizens. Terje Carlsson thought about making a movie about Israel peace activists who suffer from taunting mistreatment by fellow Israelis, sometime dubbed 'traitors' on loud-speakers walking side by side to harass them, while they protect helpless Palestinians being bullied by illegal settlers of Hebron town (an activist describes the Hebron town to given similar picture of mistreatment of Palestinians by Israeli illegal settlers, to that of Jews in Nazi Germany). Winner of 'Public Liberties and Human Rights Award - Al Jazeera Documentary Festival 2011' - 'President of the Festival - Special Award at the One Shot ISFF Festival, 2011' - 'Best Documentary at the 2011 Turkish Radio and Television Documentary Awards' - '2011 Ojai International Film Festival Best Documentary Honorable Mention'. Yehuda Shaul, one of the founders of 'Breaking the Silence' - Shaul worked as IDF in Hebron. Worked during second intifada and since then, he has taken on job to expose the horrors of occupation of Palestine. 1. Ronny Perlman is the Jerusalem based coordinator for the organization 'Checkpoint Watch' - a holocaust survivor living with her grandchildren She leads the organization since 2001 run by Israeli women peace activists, to protest Israeli check-post. 2. Arik Ascherman a rabbi, member of 'Rabbis for Human Rights', he speaks about human rights in the voice of the Jewish tradition. Helps destitute Palestinian farmers harassed and bullied by illegal Israeli settlers. 3. Jonathan Pollack is an anarchist from Tel Aviv, founder of the Israeli group 'Anarchists Against the Wall' a radical left-group established in 2003 in response to the construction of the wall built on Palestinian land in the Occupied West Bank. The group works in cooperation with Palestinians in a joint popular struggle against the occupation. The scenes include, Jewish children protected by IDF throwing stones at Palestinian women and children living in Hebron (reminding me of treatment of Jews from any Holocaust movies) - teenage girls kicking elderly Palestinian women - Palestinian farmers whose stocks are stolen by illegal settlers - long queue at check-post like that from Schindler's List. If anyone is still living the strategies of Nazi party, then its Israeli government and military themselves. The U.S. U.K Canada, and Australia as well as New Zealand the so-called champions of human-rights and free-will show true colors when it comes to show they all keep mum about Israeli atrocities in Palestine. A Jew in the documentary called the land of Palestine as 'Promised Land from God' - I don't think today's Jews who fly F-16s, accumulate advanced weapons, grow secret arsenal of nuclear weapons, receiving largest amount of $3 billion defense aid from the United States, as compared to those who were oppressed by Pharaoh from the Moses' times (peace be upon Him) - (God has never been on the side of oppressors, those who strike with iron-fist). Palestinians have never been weaker before than they are today. Today, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is busy propagating mythical fears about Iran, totally deviating from Palestinian issue. I have heard him hundreds of times 'threatening' Iran live on television before 7 billion population of the world, then I have heard any Iranian leader threatening to attack Israel (the West does not pay heed to this) even after his constant threats. Netanyahu might receive standing ovation in the US, Canada or Australia, but we dare ask him to go to UK, China or India and let's see if anyone cares a bit about their imaginary fears they inculcate in sold-out souls. I have met too many conscious Israelis who are critical of Israeli government and military. Asia the most populous continent and mass-land with more than 4.299 billion population out of 7.046 does not support Israel's outcry and mythical fear 'to be wiped off globe'. China, India the most populous countries in Asia and the world over, followed by Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, are in majority than what the people of West behold about Israel-Palestine conflict. Israel and the US are busy hiring mercenary states like Marshall Island, Senegal, Togo, Nauru (countries which nobody even have heard about, are paid millions of aid by Israel and the US to buy their vote for UN resolution against Israel).
