06/14/2008 I am indian, and to me this movie made me sit up and wake up to the glaring perceptions of america... a wonderfully trippy film. leaves me a little pensive and stoned by the end credits. See more 11/15/2007 As an immigrant to the U.S., this movie gave me a sense of how lucky I am to have been able to come, live and succeed in this unique country, and how different the perception of America is when you haven't lived here. This movie also puts a face to those people you talk to very often and makes you think how our anger at times shouldn't be pointed at them, but at the Corporations that, in some level, exploit them. See more 10/27/2007 I'm surprised that 94% of people are not interested in seeing this movie. Actually, why shouldn't I be? Anyhow, for those who care.... just a brief comment: A lot of people think that the movie saddens them because of the seeming misconception that Indian people have about America. However, I want to point out that these "misconceptions" are the ideals that America has the possibility to offer. The movie to me is not actually sad, but optimistic - it reminds Americans that they do live in a land of opportunity, at least much more so than other parts of the world. Before one testifies against America, (s)he needs to visit a third-world country for a while and realize all the things we take for granted here.
