It's been 25 years since Tory Redding put an end to a psychotic Leprechaun trying to kill her and her friends for stealing his pot of gold - and no one has heard a wicked limerick since. But after she gifted the property to a local college in her will, a group of students unwittingly revive him while turning the old cabin into their green sorority house. Now, this renewable enemy is back for his gold, and ready to give these girls, and one old friend, a lesson in murder.

While there's a lot of charm to be found, it's also sloppy in its world-building and doesn't give us anyone to truly root for. It doesn't feel like anything we haven't already seen before, either.

I don't want to pull the wool over your eyes and declare Leprechaun Returns a masterpiece. It's not and I know that. However, it's some of the most fun you will have with a horror movie this year.

At least the leprechaun can talk again rather than just growl. This is also the first actual sequel to the original but Ozzie isn’t as entertaining. It’s about as watchable as the original film, well made but forgettable with a darker tone compared to the original. It also has all the same faults as the original like bad pacing and just not being very good or engaging. The onslaught of one liners in the final confrontation is painful. If Jennifer Aniston hadn’t got famous then I don’t think any of these sequels would exist and that would be a good thing.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas de terror são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom
