Andy garcia and Ray liotta two great actors with gangster experience so in this crime, drama, thriller, drug gangster movie its a making of a good movie: or so we thought ! This movie fails to impress miserably, its a waste of time, the action should be fun and yet boring, that backed up with the boring storyline in between just fails to engage the audience. At times its really boring and slow and doesnt interest you enough to want to continue watching the movie! i lasted 40minutes before i had enough!

A strong, stylish, gripping and thoroughly engaging film. A supremely entertaining crime thriller that's a twist-filled and action-packed ride. It keeps you entertained and guessing right to the end. A great story with compelling characters and a great cast supporting those roles. A slick, dark and edgy groove that's all it's own. A well-crafted and exceptionally performed movie with lots to offer. It's intriguing and heart-pounding with well-drawn characters in a strong story oriented flick that works. It delivers plenty of absorbing drama, sizzling action and great suspense. It's such an mesmerizing and explosive film. Andy Garcia is brilliant. Ray Liotta is terrific. Esai Morales is electrifying. Armand Assante and Gary Daniels give strong performances in their smaller roles.

I was really impressed with the fact that Ray Liotta seemed not to have tanned himself orange in this one and covered over his acne with layer after layer of make up. His acting was classical and well done and the sotry, although a little odd at the end was done really well. Intricate plot which ends with almost everyone dead....which is nice.

starts off feeling like this could be another traffic, focusing on weakness in mexican/us border, and how middle eastern are using week points to smuggle in for terrorism, but unfortunatly, it sort of moves away from that, and focuses on a agent, ray liotta, deep undercover trying to track down head of mexican organisation, but from here it gets quite dull, and i lost interest quite a bit
