Movie Info

Sam (Benoît Magimel), a college student and amateur film buff, becomes intrigued by the story of vanished film legend Sylvain Marceau (Sagamore Stévenin). Sam meets with Lisa (Jeanne Moreau), who worked with Sylvain on what turned out be his last film, and Lisa reveals the details of her relationship with Sylvain. As Sam learns more about their complicated story, he begins to question his own identity and past, much to the dismay of his parents (Denise Chalem, Michel Jonasz).

    This movie is from 1989, not 2001, and it's not French. A young teen gets involved with an older guy over the phone, unaware he's a serial killer. It's good, I recommend it.
