4/5
Though the film is composed almost entirely of just one actor onscreen, the combination of compelling live play — that feels authentic and visually engaging — and a running chat with Scott’s loyal viewers ensures there’s never a dull moment. Go to Full Review

Frank B @RT44778076 Jul 23 Easily the worst horror movie I have ever seen. 99% of the movie is watching a horrible streamer play horrible video games. Zero creativity as the games the chud plays are all rip off versions of real video games. If you want to watch a movie that is realistic and makes sense, AVOID THIS MOVIE AT ALL COSTS. Horrible acting, the only thing scary about this movie is the dudes hairy double chin + greasy hair. Worst jump scare is the image of a morbidly obese chud coming in at the end because he died, and I’m really upset the main actor didn’t die as well. I’m ashamed I’ll never get back the 1 hour and 9 minutes of my life I spent watching this film. The budget for this movie had to actually be about $100 max, I have no idea how this disgrace made it on to Youtube. I feel pain for others who had to witness possibly the worst movie of all time. Odd that everyone immediately jumped onto the "game can kill us for real" thing since, uh, things that people think are hoaxes these days, but I doubt it would've helped to add a million hours of arguing (Unfriended). I also appreciate that we didn't get some hokey backstory (it's Elizabeth Bathory's ghost!). Keeping it simple really worked here. It's also remarkably easy to keep up with both the chat and the gameplay, which is impressive. The graphics were actually pretty good, even if not really scary. The existentialist theme (what gives you purpose) was well-executed. Big critique: why is he supposed to feel sorry about having followers? Not for having his followers killed, but for having them at all? What is this supposed to critique? And the kid is a total nonsense addition to this nonsense moral philosophy. Good until the "statement" was something we were supposed to take seriously. See more Frank J @RT59071216 Oct 6 This was the first horror movie that made me cry which is is a very weird thing to say. See more Emilliano Jr S @emill_santos 01/24/2025 Definitely just a waste of time. See more Melissa L @Agent99 10/11/2024 I don't usually watch gamers' livestreams, but I thought this was a great movie. I recommend it! See more tamanegi @RT30455958 03/09/2024 a really obscure yet well made of a film, with an incredibly original concept of a streamer playing games that can kill. though sometimes i feel like the chat wasn't really that realistic and the glitches were on a bad overlay. and i feel like the horror parts came in a little too quick in the film and almost took away the build up. aside from those. i really liked this movie and i can't wait for the sequel!!! it looks promising See more Read all reviews
