Movie Info
Although Philip Benjamin (Angus Macfadyen) has been out to his friends for some time, he steels himself to announce his sexual orientation to his conservative parents. Though his mother, Rose (Eileen Atkins), is relatively accepting, Philip's father, Owen (Brian Cox), is thunderstruck by the news because it forces him to come to grips with his own furtive homosexuality. Meanwhile, Philip develops a close friendship with his ex-boyfriend's housemate, Jerene (Cathy Tyson), a linguistics student.
