It also explores the idea that movie props are as much an art form as paintings or sculptures. This was essentially a movie for rich people because they’re the only ones who can afford to throw down hundreds of thousands of dollars on movie props, but it was still a fascinating documentary that explores the reasons why people collect movie props, to develop a deeper and more physical connection to movies they love. Yes, the message that money and buying things is a way to find happiness does come across in this movie, but setting that aside it’s still a fun, well made, and high quality documentary that is a must-watch for anyone who loves movies, pop culture, or is a collector of movie props and memorabilia.
