Daryl R. @RT93575151 Feb 21 A heartwarming film. See more Joy C @JoyC. Feb 16 ‘Be Happy’ embraces/ condones infidelity and there is also a gay scene! It’s also unrealistic. What man would accept his wife back with open arms if she cheated on him? I’m surprised that MJB would write and produce a movie of this caliber. Some of her other movies are great in comparison to this one. See more Tatiana H @RT44399775 Feb 8 Mary J. Blige Presents: Be Happy delivers a heartfelt exploration of marriage, examining both its promise and its strain with emotional honesty. The film leans into the realities of partnership, portraying love not as effortless, but as something that requires resilience and sacrifice. Anchored by a cast that reflects Black excellence, the performances bring authenticity to the family dynamic while offering a nuanced depiction of motherhood and its emotional complexities. While rooted in familiar themes, the film succeeds in creating a resonant, character-driven story. This installment reinforces the potential of Mary J. Blige–inspired projects and leaves room for future adaptations drawn from her music. See more Veronica T @LUkno Feb 8 Tisha Campbell acting wasn’t doing it for me. For me this roll wasn’t for her.
