This sci-fi drama wants to capture the self-proclaimed "geeky" crowd so it can tell them a story with a good moral about friendship and forgiveness, but the journey to that moral is a little tedious. Go to Full Review

A harmless and breezy, but by-the-numbers, shallow and forgettable sci-fi movie. Go to Full Review

Shawn S @gpatac 6d I loved the storytelling and pacing of *Matter of Time*. The film beautifully captures the wonder and imagination of childhood, pulling you into its world from the very beginning. It’s a perfect blend of action, comedy, and intrigue, all while gently tugging at your heartstrings. See more Heather C @Feather419 Mar 5 I really loved this movie. The messaging was wholesome, Charlie Fleck was a lovable character and you couldn’t help but root for him by the end. I genuinely enjoyed this movie and my family of video game lovers did as well. See more Thomas S. @sneadmd Mar 5 “Matter of Time” is one of those rare films that quietly stays with you long after the credits roll. Instead of relying on spectacle, it tells a deeply human story about love, family, and the fleeting nature of life. The film beautifully reminds us that time isn’t something to chase or control—it’s something to appreciate. What makes this movie so powerful is its simplicity. The characters feel real, the relationships are authentic, and the emotional moments land in a way that feels honest rather than forced. It balances humor, warmth, and heartfelt reflection perfectly. By the end, you realize the message isn’t really about time at all—it’s about living fully in the small, everyday moments that often pass us by. It’s uplifting, emotional, and incredibly meaningful. If you’re looking for a movie that will make you laugh, tear up, and walk away thinking a little differently about life, “Matter of Time” is absolutely worth watching. Highly recommended!!! See more jesse v Mar 4 A love letter to game development for a game jam (even though the movie borrows a lot from Free Guy). Unfortunately ramifications for the plot gimmick aren't hit until the end and the father gets forgotten about half way through the movie. And other plot breaking bugs that are covered by this movie's passion for video games. See more Libby B @LibbyBowen Mar 3 Really enjoyed this film. Lighthearted and nostalgic in all the best ways. Highly recommend! See more Chris W. @ChrisW1978 Mar 3 I am at a loss on how this movie is getting good ratings. The movie is derivative, combines common tropes and was predictable. There were so many things about this movie that kept me actually mad. I’m not sure how I stayed. See more Read all reviews
