Teddy B @RT90521672 Sep 30, 2026 Even if this was made for cheap under one or two animators, nothing admirable can come of something so threadbare as this plot. Yes, it's occasionally disturbing, but mainly just unpleasant and predatory. Midori is a complete nothing sandwich with no sauce, no meat and nothing resembling tangible ingredients. She is a ragdoll that gets thrown around screaming, snickering monsters, that soaks in misery and spreads out her own unique flavour of it. Her position is so comically helpless as to make me laugh in what the internet flaunts as 'the film's most disgusting, shocking, outrageous and demented scenes'. Her carnival crew is just a lot of evil grins in the dark and perpetually angry or annoyed voices rightfully yet undubbed. Wonder Masamitsu works a little better at the whole shock-jock game simply because he is such a greasy, snivelling, ugly little creep, but his separation from Midori is almost treated as some grand Shakespearean tragedy, tears and broken love and all. din D @LJK12 May 30, 2026 This "film" is just a bunch of over-the-top graphic imagery just for shock-sake. There are practically no plot and every other scene we either see something cute or innocent get brutally killed or someone enduring in sexual acts in a very graphic way. There is no reason to watch Midori even if it's sort of interesting that it was all animated by just one person. See more

Arianna T @RT91228689 Apr 18, 2026 Some say this is the most horrifying anime they’ve seen. But in my opinion the gore was barely scary and other scenes were only slightly disturbing. I will admit that I was quite confused through lots of the movie, mainly because it felt like random clips scrapped together. The art style and animation was old and not amazing, but I found it added to the creepy vibe of the movie. The ending left many questions, and the plot wasn’t obvious. Overall - confusing, creepy, interesting. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone who can’t handle gore (as one scene early on is very gorey), abuse, or flashes/bright colours. See more

Jace B @RT37552408 Jul 11, 2025 The movie is definitely in your face with the shock factors and gore. And the first watch through I felt disturbed the rest of my night (I did watch this at 12 or so). Now a day later I look back on it and have a strange need to watch it again, and I'm really beginning to love this movie oddly enough. Feels strange. See more
