Ryan M @RyanReviews Dec 4 I usually have a lot of the martial arts movies playing in the background. This movie had me completely invested. The cast of characters worked really well. Without spoiling to much, the twist in a few character arches was exciting compared to a lot of the other movies that have a typical linear paths. While some of the aspects in this movie is similar to other martial arts movies. I find that okay because this one just does it a bit better. The drama is a fun watch Definitely a must see. See more 03/06/2011 This is classic kung fu at it's best. The film opens with a bunch of the good guy martial artists having someone they love getting killed, and so the revenge plot begins. They soon meet up with a master martial artist who is just an all round good guy. Soon the official government learns of what's going on and the army gets involved. Essentially what this means is that the battles keep getting bigger and bigger and bigger until the grande finale. Complete with terrible dub work and some super cheesy foley work, Militant Eagle is the kind of martial arts film you remember from when you were a kid and as such, is not only fun to watch but a blast from the past that tugs at those old nostalgic heart strings.
