Movie Info

A VCR- and calculator-manual writer's ordinary life is turned upside down when his house is stolen in director Jonathan Friedman's ultra-indie comedy. Ron Fervant (L. Derek Leonidoff) is an aspiring novelist who leads a quiet life, but when his home is inexplicably stolen one day, he sets out on a quest to find his humble abode that will take him to such exotic, faraway lands as Atlantic City, NJ. Pursued by clueless cops and incredulous insurance agents, Ron and his tabloid-journalist friend John (Terry Jernigan) set out to rip the lid off of the greatest conspiracy that mankind has ever known.

The saving grace of this no-budget movie is that the comedy works well.

If I had a nickel for every wacky-road-trip indie flick I've had to review, well, I'm not sure how much I'd have, but I know it would be pretty close to a dollar.

Probably isn't going to be the next Blair Witch of indie-ville.
